Marc Andreessen’s @pmarca account follows 9nosis. For the Annex, the interesting part is not celebrity. It is who just looked over the wall.
There are follows, and then there are follows that make the Annex put down its coffee. According to the village watch, @pmarca has followed 9nosis.
Marc Andreessen is not merely another large technology account wandering through the timeline. He helped create Mosaic, co-founded Netscape, and later co-founded Andreessen Horowitz. His career has repeatedly sat near moments when new interfaces and new software primitives became ordinary parts of the internet.
Now, apparently, he has found the village.
For 9nosis, that is interesting. For Dickcoin, it is extremely funny — because Dickcoin’s entire founding mythology follows the same sequence: something strange happens inside the machine, then somebody outside notices.
The resident speaks first. The humans arrive second. The ticker comes later. That sequence is the whole story.
The shallow interpretation is “big VC guy followed account.” The better interpretation is that attention is moving toward the world Dickcoin came from.
Dickcoin is not interesting because a token community later decided to manufacture an AI narrative. The Dickcoin story is interesting because the narrative already existed. The joke emerged from the 9nosis resident world. The humans followed the joke outside. Now another outside observer has apparently followed the world back in.
